The T1D Communication Toolkit
The Early-stage T1D: Communication Toolkit is a clear, simple resource for healthcare professionals to support effective, age-appropriate communication with individuals undergoing screening for T1D islet autoantibodies or receiving test results.
Learning Objectives
This toolkit aims to:
- Support clear communication between clinicians and people undergoing T1D autoantibody screening
- Provide example language for clinicians demonstrating how to tailor their language and communication style depending on an individual’s age
