Flemming Pociot

Professor Flemming Pociot is a renowned researcher in type 1 diabetes with a career dedicated to understanding and fighting the disease. As a clinical professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen and research leader at the Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen (SDCC), he leads pioneering projects aimed at predicting, evaluating, and preventing the development of type 1 diabetes. His research focuses on identifying biomarkers that can predict the risk of type 1 diabetes, disease progression and response to treatments.
