European Diabetes Forum (EUDF), Brussels, Belgium

“If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together”. This is how we work at EUDF and what I like about the BR1DGE program, it brings together all stakeholders to prepare the future.

Bart Torbeyns holds a master’s degree in Pharmacy from University Leuven, and a Master in Business Economics also from University Leuven. He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry where he held various roles in sales, marketing, medical affairs, public policy and government relations. Since 2020, he is responsible for the activities of the European Diabetes Forum (EUDF). EUDF brings together relevant research and scientific societies, patient organizations, professional healthcare organizations in order to present a united voice on the needs of the diabetes community in Europe to governments, regulators, payers and others. The vision of EUDF is to enable healthcare systems to cope with the diabetes pandemic, while achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.
